eSTUFF GLBG12277156 Frameless Privacy Filter

The eSTUFF GLBG12277156 frameless display privacy filter in gold is made for 12.5" laptops with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It provides a high-contrast, high-resolution rendering for the user while presenting a vibrant golden shield to observers at an angle. The filter also protects the screen glass from scratches and damage and has a glossy/matt surface finish with anti-glare properties. It is lightweight (0.08 kg) and designed for LCD laptop displays.

Advantages

This gold privacy filter delivers clear, crisp image clarity for the person directly in front of the screen while making the display unreadable from the sides. It adds a protective layer to reduce the risk of scratches and physical damage to the screen surface and combines a glossy/matt finish with anti-glare treatment to balance contrast and reflections. The frameless design keeps the appearance minimal and lightweight for portable use.

Align the privacy filter with the laptop screen and attach it according to the included mounting method (adhesive tabs or slide-in frame as supplied). Ensure the filter sits flush with the display and confirm the 16:9 alignment. Use normal touch and swipe gestures if the screen is touch-capable; the filter allows fingers to slide across the surface smoothly. To clean, remove the filter if necessary and wipe gently with a microfiber cloth and a mild screen cleaner suitable for coated displays.

Recommendations

For optimal privacy, view the screen straight-on and position the laptop so that potential onlookers are at an angle; avoid exposing confidential information in crowded or poorly positioned environments. Regularly clean the filter to maintain image clarity and check attachment points to prevent accidental detachment during transport.
