How to use

To magnetize a steel tool, insert the tool tip into the magnetizing slot and move it in and out a few times until the desired magnetic strength is achieved. To demagnetize, use the demagnetizing slot and perform the same in-and-out motion, or withdraw the tool slowly according to the tool’s instructions until residual magnetism is removed. Use steady, controlled movements and avoid forcing oversized tools into the slots.

Recommendations

Use the Gedore 6416500 on clean, dry tools; avoid contact with sensitive electronic components while the tool is magnetized. Store the device in a toolbox or pouch to prevent damage to the housing.
