How to use

Loop the cable around a fixed, immovable object and insert the lock head into the device's security slot (Kensington-style or equivalent). Turn the key to engage the lock, then remove the key. Keep the spare key in a safe place separate from the device. When unlocking, insert the key and turn to release the lock head before removing the cable.

Recommendations

Use the lock as a deterrent for opportunistic theft; it does not make the device theft-proof. Choose a solid anchor point and store spare keys separately. For high-risk environments, consider additional physical security measures.
