Goobay RJ-45 CAT7 Network Cable 15m

Goobay RJ-45 CAT7 15m is a 15-metre networking cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. The cable uses S/FTP construction with each pair screened by metal foil (PIMF) and an overall braided outer shield, and it features moulded RJ-45 connectors with slim-line strain relief and length indication. Contacts are plated with 50 µin gold and the pair sequence follows EIA/TIA 568. The cable is Cat 7 tested up to 600 MHz and is suitable for structured networks in home and office environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP design (pairs in metal foil with braided outer shield) reduces crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity for demanding network applications. Gold-plated contacts provide corrosion resistance and stable connections, while the molded slim-line strain relief ensures secure connector retention and compatibility with patch panels. Built-in length indication on the strain relief simplifies cable identification during installation.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections (up to Cat 7 performance)
• Structured cabling in homes and offices
• Connections to routers, switches, patch panels and network devices
• Environments requiring reduced interference and high signal integrity

How to use

Connect one molded RJ-45 connector to your network device (router, switch, patch panel or network interface) and the other connector to the corresponding device or port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and protect it from sharp edges or compression that could damage the shielding or conductor pairs.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable runs within recommended lengths for Ethernet deployments and avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines. Use proper cable management and patch panels to maintain signal integrity and simplify maintenance.
