Hama 00020097 network cable orange 10 m Cat7

The Hama 00020097 10m Cat7 Orange networking cable is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for stable, high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. With Cat7 specification and 10GBase-T cabling technology, this 10-meter cable supports demanding network applications and provides reliable connectivity between routers, switches, servers and end devices. The bright orange jacket helps with cable identification and organized cabling runs.

Advantages

This Cat7 cable delivers improved shielding and reduced crosstalk compared with earlier categories, enabling more consistent throughput at higher frequencies. The 10 m length provides flexibility for larger rooms or rack-to-desk connections while keeping a neat installation. The orange outer jacket is durable and visibly distinct, simplifying troubleshooting and maintenance in mixed-cable environments.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between routers, switches and networked devices in homes and small offices
• High-bandwidth applications such as 4K streaming, large file transfers and online gaming
• Structured cabling runs where cable identification and color-coding are required
• Temporary or permanent patching in server rooms and network closets

Key specifications

• Cabling standard: Cat7
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T
• Cable length: 10 m
• Outer colour: Orange

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to the Ethernet port of your network device and the other end to the corresponding port on your router, switch or modem. Ensure connectors on both devices are compatible with RJ45 Ethernet interfaces; the cable is intended to be used as a patch or fixed link within an Ethernet network. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension, and secure it with cable ties or clips where appropriate to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources. If used in permanent installations, allow gentle service loops and do not exceed the minimum bend radius specified by installation guidelines for Cat7 cables.
