Hama 00200758 thermal paste 4 g

Hama 00200758 thermal paste is a 4 g compound formulated with carbon to improve heat transfer between heat-generating components and heatsinks. With a density of 3.96 g/cm³ and a grey appearance, this thermal grease is designed to fill microscopic gaps on contact surfaces and reduce thermal resistance, helping maintain stable operating temperatures in computers and other electronic devices.

Advantages

The carbon-based composition provides reliable thermal conductivity while maintaining a stable consistency during application. The 4 g amount is suitable for multiple applications or for servicing several components. Its operating temperature range from 50 °C to 170 °C ensures functional performance in typical consumer and small-office electronic environments. The grey color helps visually confirm even coverage on contact surfaces.

Suitable for

• Applying between CPUs/GPUs and heatsinks in desktop and laptop systems
• Thermal interface maintenance in small electronics and gaming consoles
• Repairing or reassembling cooling systems on motherboards and expansion cards

Key specifications

• Weight: 4 g
• Density: 3.96 g/cm³
• Operating temperature: 50–170 °C
• Composition: carbon-based thermal compound
• Color: grey

How to use

Before application, power off and unplug the device, then remove the heatsink or cooling component. Clean both contact surfaces with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth to remove old paste and contaminants. Apply a small, pea-sized amount of the thermal paste to the center of the component; when the heatsink is reattached, pressure will spread the compound evenly. Reassemble the cooling assembly and verify secure mounting and proper fan operation. Use care to avoid excess paste that could spill onto motherboard components.

Recommendations

For best results, apply a thin, even layer and replace the thermal paste during CPU or GPU maintenance intervals or when temperatures become consistently higher than expected. Store the product in a cool, dry place and keep the cap tightly closed to prevent drying. Avoid contact with skin and eyes; follow standard safety precautions and local disposal regulations for electronic compounds.
