Hama 00205219 Coaxial Plug Connector 1 pc

The Hama 00205219 coaxial connector is a single-piece adapter with male coaxial connectors on both ends, designed to join two coax cables or extend an existing run. Finished in silver, it provides a compact and durable connection solution for audio and video equipment, set-top boxes, TVs and antenna systems. Supplied in a hanging box, the connector is ready for immediate installation in home entertainment and signal distribution setups.

Advantages

This coaxial connector delivers a straightforward mechanical join between two coax cables without signal conversion or electronics. Its metal housing and precise terminals ensure secure mating and good contact stability, helping to reduce signal loss at the connection point. The compact form factor minimizes visual impact and fits easily behind AV equipment or inside cable runs.

Suitable for

• Extending coaxial cable runs in home TV and antenna systems
• Connecting set-top boxes, satellite receivers and HDTV tuners to coax leads
• Temporary or permanent joins in AV installations and signal testing

Key specifications

• Connector type: male-to-male coaxial adapter
• Number of pieces: 1
• Finish: silver metal housing
• Application: RF signal transmission for audio/video and antenna signals
• Packaging: hanging retail box

How to use

Align the male coaxial connector with the female socket of the cable or device and push straight in until the centre pin seats and the outer shell engages. For a secure mechanical connection, ensure the mating connectors are clean and free of debris before insertion. To remove, pull the adapter straight out, taking care not to twist forcefully to avoid damage to the cable ends or device sockets.

Recommendations

Use this connector indoors in dry environments and avoid excessive bending or strain on the connected cables. For best signal integrity, keep the total number of inline adapters to a minimum and use properly terminated coaxial cables rated for the intended signal type (e.g., digital TV, satellite). Inspect contacts periodically and replace the connector if corrosion or physical wear is evident.
