Helos 014050 telephone cable 3m black transparent

The Helos 014050 telephone cable is a 3-metre connection lead designed for reliable analogue telephone and telecom device connections. Fitted with 6P4C (RJ11-style) connectors on both ends, the black translucent jacket provides visible cable condition while maintaining a professional appearance. The cable balances flexibility and durability for everyday use in home and office environments where standard telephone wiring is required.

Advantages

This telephone cable delivers consistent signal transfer for voice communication and basic data over standard analogue lines. The translucent black outer sheath resists everyday wear while allowing visual inspection of the conductor path. Flexible construction simplifies routing around desks and equipment, and the standard 6P4C connectors ensure compatibility with most landline handsets, answering machines and telephony adapters.

Suitable for

• Connecting landline telephones to wall sockets or base units
• Linking telephone handsets to cordless base stations
• Connecting fax machines or answering machines to analogue lines
• Temporary or permanent desk and office telephony installations

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 metres
• Connector type: 6P4C (modular telephone connectors) on both ends
• Outer colour and finish: black translucent jacket
• Cable construction: flexible insulated conductors suitable for indoor routing
• Primary use: analogue voice and basic telephony signalling

How to use

Insert each 6P4C connector firmly into the corresponding telephone socket until it clicks. Ensure the cable is routed to avoid sharp bends or heavy compression that could damage the conductors or the connector latches. When connecting to devices, power down or mute equipment if recommended by the device manufacturer to avoid line noise or interruptions during insertion. Verify connectivity by lifting the handset or checking the device status indicator.

Recommendations

For best long-term performance, avoid placing the cable near sources of strong electromagnetic interference or running it bundled with high-voltage power cords. Replace the cable if connectors become loose, contacts corrode, or the outer jacket shows visible damage.
