Helos Cat 6 S/FTP Network Cable 20 m

The Helos Cat 6 S/FTP 20 m networking cable provides a 20-meter connection with RJ-45 connectors on both ends for linking computers, routers, switches and other Ethernet-capable devices. Built to Cat 6 specifications with S/FTP shielding, the cable supports high-speed data transfer and reduced electromagnetic interference over a longer run. The grey jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for home, office or server-room installations.

Advantages

S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to minimize crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity for gigabit and near-gigabit applications. The 20 m length allows flexible placement of network equipment without added connectors, and the RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with standard Ethernet ports. The cable’s physical design balances flexibility and durability for routine installations and occasional re-routing.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and network printers to a router or switch
• Wired links between network switches or access points within the same room or floor
• Home office and small business wired Ethernet installations
• Temporary cabling for events or testing network configurations

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 20 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of the devices you want to link until the latch clicks into place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, tight kinks and sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as large transformers or unshielded power lines. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable management accessories and avoid over-tightening to prevent deformation of the jacket or conductor pairs.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use this Cat 6 S/FTP cable for runs within the specified 20 m length without additional couplers. Test the connection after installation with network diagnostic tools to confirm link speed and signal quality. When running alongside power lines, maintain separation or use dedicated conduits to further reduce interference.
