Helos Cat 6a S/FTP Network Cable 3 m

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 3 m networking cable is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for reliable high-speed data transfer in home and office environments. Measuring 3 meters in length, it features RJ-45 connectors on both ends and S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. The blue jacket provides a clear visual cue for network organization while supporting applications that require higher bandwidth and stable connections.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding offers improved protection against external interference compared with unshielded cables, helping to maintain signal integrity over the full 3 m length. Cat 6a classification supports higher frequencies and greater data throughput than lower-category cables, making it suitable for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet when used within specification limits. The fitted RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with standard network ports and simplify installation without the need for additional adapters.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches and routers within a small office or home network
• High-bandwidth tasks such as large file transfers, video streaming and online collaboration
• Patch cabling in structured network installations and server racks

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded with foil and individual pair shielding)
• Length: 3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the matching Ethernet ports on your devices until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp edges that could damage the jacket or internal pairs. For best performance, keep the cable separated from power lines and strong sources of electromagnetic interference. The cable can be used as a direct patch lead between network equipment or as part of a structured cabling run within the three-metre length.

Recommendations

For consistent 10 Gigabit performance, use this Cat 6a S/FTP cable in environments where connectors and patch panels are rated for Cat 6a and maintain recommended installation practices such as proper bend radius and minimal untwisting of pairs during termination.
