Herlitz 10116655 Water-based Paint 12 Pieces

Herlitz 10116655 water based paint set contains twelve ready-to-use colours formulated for general art and school use. The paints are water-soluble, non-toxic and designed for easy mixing and fast cleanup. Each colour delivers a smooth, even finish that dries quickly, suitable for paper, cardboard and other common craft surfaces.

Advantages

The water-based formulation allows simple dilution and blending with no solvent odor, and stains wash out from hands and most fabrics with water when treated promptly. Fast drying times reduce waiting during classroom or workshop sessions, while the balanced pigment load provides vivid yet controllable tones. The set’s compact packaging makes storage and transportation convenient for both home and educational environments.

Key specifications

• Number of colours: 12
• Type: water based, water-soluble paint
• Safety: non-toxic formulation
• Finish: smooth, matte to satin when dry
• Suitable surfaces: paper, cardboard, lightweight craft materials

How to use

Shake or stir each jar before use to ensure even pigment distribution. Apply with a clean brush, sponge or fingertip depending on the desired effect. Thin with water for washes or to create gradients; use straight from the container for opaque coverage. Allow painted areas to dry between layers to avoid unwanted mixing and to achieve consistent finish and colour intensity.

Recommendations

For best results, work on absorbent paper designed for water media and protect work surfaces with a mat or newspaper. Rinse brushes promptly after use and close lids tightly to prevent drying. When removing fresh stains from skin or fabrics, use warm water and soap; for set-in fabric stains follow conventional laundering guidelines.
