Herlitz 8770158 Pin Tack White

The Herlitz 8770158 pin tack in white is a compact fastening accessory designed for securing papers, notes and lightweight items to bulletin boards, cork surfaces and some walls. Constructed from metal for the pin and durable plastic for the head, the pin tack provides a reliable hold while minimising damage to pinned materials and most soft surfaces. Its unobtrusive white finish is suitable for a variety of interior styles and workplace environments.

Advantages

The metal point ensures consistent penetration and secure retention in cork and soft board materials, while the plastic head offers easy handling and a clean, minimal appearance. The small profile reduces visual clutter on display boards and the smooth head surface is easy to clean. Designed for everyday use, the pin tack is lightweight and simple to insert and remove without specialised tools.

Suitable for

• Attaching memos, photos and printed documents to corkboards
• Temporary displays on soft wall panels or fabric noticeboards
• Organising reminders and to-do notes in home offices
• Classroom bulletin boards and workshop pin-up areas

Key specifications

• Head colour: white
• Materials: metal pin, plastic head
• Intended use: fastening lightweight paper items to soft boards and similar surfaces
• Design: low-profile, rounded head for easy handling

How to use

Press the pointed metal tip of the pin tack through the paper or item to be displayed, then insert the tip into the corkboard or other suitable soft surface until the head sits flush or slightly raised according to preference. To remove, grasp the plastic head and pull straight out to avoid tearing the pinned material. For best results, avoid forcing the pin into hard surfaces such as solid wood or drywall without appropriate anchors.

Recommendations

Use these pin tacks on corkboards, soft noticeboards and fabric panels. Avoid using on very hard or brittle surfaces to prevent bending the pin or damaging the surface. Keep out of reach of small children due to the sharp point.
