Herlitz 8842619 Adhesive Tape

Herlitz 8842619 duct tape is a brown, heavy-duty adhesive tape designed for indoor packaging and general-purpose securing tasks. The tape is 50 mm wide and 66 m long, produced from durable plastic material that resists tearing under normal indoor conditions. Its strong adhesive layer provides reliable grip on cardboard, plastic, wood and many other surfaces, making it suitable for everyday use in offices, warehouses and homes.

Advantages

This duct tape combines a durable plastic backing with a high-tack adhesive to deliver consistent performance for sealing and bundling. The 50 mm width gives a good coverage per wrap while the 66 m roll length reduces the frequency of roll changes. The brown colour provides a discreet, neutral appearance for packaging and storage tasks. The tape unrolls smoothly and adheres quickly to common indoor surfaces.

Suitable for

• Sealing cardboard boxes and parcels for storage or shipping
• Bundling and securing lightweight items for transport or storage
• Temporary repairs of torn or damaged materials indoors
• Label reinforcement and general office or warehouse tasks

Key specifications

• Material: durable plastic backing with pressure-sensitive adhesive
• Colour: brown
• Width: 50 mm
• Length: 66 m
• Application: indoor use

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, oil or loose particles before applying the tape. Cut or tear the required length from the roll and press firmly along the tape to create full contact between the adhesive and the surface. For sealing boxes, apply tape along seams and reinforce corners with additional strips if necessary. Store the roll in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve adhesive performance.

Recommendations

Use the tape at room temperature for optimal adhesion; for heavy or long-term outdoor exposure consider a specialized outdoor-rated tape. When sealing heavier parcels, combine multiple tape strips or use wider packing tape to ensure secure handling during transport.
