HP DesignJet T1600 36-inch PostScript Printer

The HP DesignJet T1600 is a 36-inch large-format thermal inkjet printer built for high-volume technical production, delivering up to 180 A1 prints per hour. Its six-ink system combines dye-based cyan, magenta, yellow, photo black, and gray with pigment-based matte black for crisp lines and vibrant colour. A 500 GB self-encrypting hard disk and 128 GB virtual memory handle complex jobs, while the 15.6-inch touchscreen provides intuitive control. Gigabit Ethernet and robust security features—HP Secure Boot, whitelisting, role-based access control, and more—make it a secure, efficient hub for architecture, engineering, and construction teams.

Advantages

Engineered for demanding workflows, the T1600 prints a line drawing in just 19.3 seconds on A1 media. The automatic sheet feeder and roll feed support unattended operation, and the integrated horizontal cutter with media bin streamlines output handling. HP Thermal Inkjet technology ensures precise, high-resolution output up to 2400 x 1200 optimized dpi. With support for Adobe PostScript 3, PDF, HP-GL/2, and other languages, it integrates seamlessly into professional environments.
