HPE Aruba Q9U25A Wireless Access Point Mount

The HPE Aruba Q9U25A (AP-MNT-W4) Mount Kit is a low-profile mounting solution for attaching Aruba 207 series WLAN access points to a solid, flat surface such as a wall or ceiling. The kit is supplied as a single white mount designed to position the access point close to the mounting surface, leaving approximately 11.5 mm of space between the back of the access point and the surface. It supports APs with either side-entry or straight-entry Ethernet ports; for straight-entry ports, an angled Ethernet plug can be used or an adapter cable and coupler included with the kit can be fitted.

Advantages

The mount provides a compact, unobtrusive installation that preserves available clearance while securing the access point. Its white finish matches typical indoor deployments and the kit includes adapter options to accommodate both straight-entry and side-entry Ethernet ports, reducing the need for additional cabling or connectors. The single-unit design simplifies inventory and installation.

Suitable for

• Mounting Aruba 207 series access points on walls
• Mounting Aruba 207 series access points on ceilings
• Installations requiring a low-profile appearance with limited rear clearance

Key specifications

• Compatible model: Aruba 207 series access points
• Manufacturer part number (MPN): Q9U25A (AP-MNT-W4)
• Colour: White
• Mounting clearance: approximately 11.5 mm between AP back and surface
• Package: single unit mount; includes adapter cable and coupler for straight-entry Ethernet ports

How to use

Attach the mount to a solid, flat surface using appropriate fasteners for the wall or ceiling material. Position the Aruba 207 access point onto the mount and secure it according to the AP mounting instructions. If the access point has a straight-entry Ethernet port and a flush connection is required, use an angled Ethernet plug or the adapter cable and coupler provided with the kit to route the cable without stress. For APs with side-entry ports, connect the Ethernet cable directly and verify the fit and alignment.

Recommendations

Use suitable wall anchors or ceiling fasteners rated for the mounting surface and the combined weight of the access point and mount. Ensure Ethernet cable routing does not pinch or excessively bend the cable within the 11.5 mm clearance to maintain reliable network connectivity.
