Hypertec 580691-HY Audio cable 2 m 3.5mm Black

The Hypertec 580691-HY audio cable is a 2 m black audio lead with male 3.5 mm connectors on both ends. It is intended for analogue audio transmission between personal audio devices, car stereos, portable speakers, headphones with aux input and other equipment that use a 3.5 mm jack. The cable features nickel-plated contacts that improve contact longevity and reduce the risk of corrosion while maintaining consistent signal transfer over its length.

Advantages

This 2 m audio cable offers a balance of reach and manageability for home and mobile setups. The nickel-plated connectors provide enhanced durability and reliable electrical contact. The slim black jacket keeps the cable discreet when routed around furniture or inside bags, and the symmetric male-to-male 3.5 mm connection ensures compatibility with a wide range of consumer audio devices.

How to use

Insert one 3.5 mm male connector into the headphone or line-out jack of the source device and insert the other connector into the aux or line-in jack of the receiving device. Ensure connectors are fully seated to prevent intermittent contact and, when possible, avoid sharp bends near the connector ends. For best results, route the cable away from power cables or large electronic devices that could induce interference.

Recommendations

Store the cable coiled loosely to prevent kinks, avoid pulling on the cable to disconnect, and clean the connector tips occasionally with a dry cloth to maintain good contact. For mobile use, consider securing excess length with a strap to reduce strain on the connectors.
