InLine 95401 Low/Medium/High Voltage Cable Medium Voltage Cable

The InLine 95401 medium voltage cable, 1500V, 1 m length and 5.5 mm diameter, is designed for reliable power transmission in photovoltaic and other electrical installations. Delivered as a pair with solar plugs (black and red), this 4 mm²-equivalent cable combines robust insulation and construction to meet the demands of PV system wiring and medium-voltage connections where a compact, durable conductor is required. The cable’s rated 1500 V and compact dimensions make it suitable for short runs and installations that require clear polarity marking.

Advantages

The cable offers a high maximum operating voltage of 1500 V, compact 5.5 mm diameter for space-efficient routing, and a 1 m length suitable for short connection runs. Supplied in black and red, it enables clear identification of positive and negative conductors. The product’s durable insulation (approx. 0.7 mm) and robust construction provide long-term mechanical and electrical reliability for photovoltaic systems and related medium-voltage applications.

Suitable for

• Photovoltaic (PV) system wiring and module interconnection
• Short medium-voltage connection runs up to the rated 1500 V
• Situations requiring clear polarity marking (black/red)
• Electrical installations where a compact 5.5 mm diameter cable is preferred

How to use

Use the InLine 95401 cable to connect photovoltaic modules, inverters, or other equipment at voltages up to 1500 V. Route the cable avoiding sharp edges and excessive bending; maintain recommended bend radii for the installation environment. Ensure correct polarity by using the red and black conductors for positive and negative connections respectively. Terminate the cable with compatible solar plugs or connectors intended for the voltage rating and secure all connections according to local electrical codes and manufacturer instructions.

Recommendations

Choose the appropriate conductor cross-section based on current and cable run length; if unsure, consult a qualified solar technician or electrician to confirm the correct wire size and installation practice.
