InLine aerial cable 2-core shielded >85dB black 5m

The InLine Antenna Cable 2x shielded >85dB black 5m is a 5-metre coaxial cable with F-type connectors on both ends designed to connect an antenna to a TV or set-top box. The cable features double shielding and attenuation performance better than 85 dB to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity for reliable reception.

Advantages

Double shielding provides improved protection against external interference and signal loss. F-type connectors on both ends ensure a secure, threaded connection compatible with most TVs and tuners. The 5 m length gives flexibility in positioning equipment while the black outer jacket offers a discrete appearance for indoor and outdoor installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting an external antenna to a television
• Linking an antenna to a set-top box or digital tuner
• Indoor cabling runs behind furniture or along walls
• Short outdoor feedlines to external antenna installations

How to use

Route the cable between the antenna and the TV or tuner, avoiding sharp bends and kinks. Screw the F-type connector firmly onto the antenna port and the TV or set-top box connector, ensuring a snug threaded fit. If used outdoors, secure the cable and connectors against movement and water ingress; use appropriate weatherproofing at exposed joints.

Recommendations

For best reception, keep cable runs as short as practical and avoid running the antenna cable parallel to power cables. Inspect connectors for corrosion if installed outdoors and replace the cable if the outer jacket is damaged.
