InLine Cable Connector Cat.6A Shielded Tool-Free Coupler 69992E

The InLine Cable connector Cat.6A shielded tool free coupler 69992E is a silver, shielded Cat6A female-to-female coupler for connecting or extending installation cables without the need for specialized tools. It uses an LSA-style connection method that requires only a cutter for preparing and inserting cable conductors and is RoHS compliant.

Advantages

This shielded Cat.6A coupler supports tool-free assembly, reducing installation time and minimizing the need for additional equipment. Its metal (silver) housing provides electromagnetic shielding for improved signal integrity in high-speed Ethernet networks. The female-to-female configuration allows simple extension or inline joining of two terminated cables while maintaining category 6A performance.

Suitable for

• Extending or joining Cat6A installation cables
• Inline repairs of damaged cable runs
• Deployments where shielded connections are required to reduce EMI
• Quick installations without crimping tools

How to use

Prepare the cable ends by stripping the outer jacket and arranging the pairs according to the required wiring standard. Use a cutter to trim conductors to the proper length, then insert each conductor into the corresponding slot of the coupler where the LSA-style mechanism secures the wires. Close the coupler housing if applicable and ensure the shield continuity by properly engaging the metal housing. Test the connection with a cable tester to verify signal integrity and wiring correctness.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use with Cat6A shielded cables and ensure the cable shield is properly terminated to the coupler housing. Avoid using the coupler in environments with excessive moisture or mechanical strain; secure cables to prevent movement that could compromise the LSA connections.
