Internal Power Cable Akasa AK-CBFA08-30BK 0.3 m

The Akasa AK-CBFA08-30BK is a 0.3 m internal power cable that expands a single 4-pin PWM motherboard header into five 4-pin PWM headers. It is intended to distribute PWM-controlled fan power within a PC and supports a total output up to 2A at 12V. The compact black design reduces cable clutter and includes adhesive tape for convenient mounting in tight spaces.

Advantages

Provides five PWM fan connectors from one motherboard header while keeping a small footprint. The cable supports up to 2A/12V total output and is finished in black to blend with typical PC interiors. Its compact length and included adhesive tape simplify routing and mounting, helping maintain a neat build without adding a separate fan controller.

Suitable for

• Connecting multiple PWM fans to a single motherboard PWM header
• Compact or small-form-factor PC builds with limited cable space
• Systems where quiet fan control via motherboard PWM is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.3 m
• Input connector: 4-pin PWM
• Output connectors: 5 × 4-pin PWM
• Total supported output: up to 2A at 12V
• Colour: Black
• Brand: Akasa, MPN: AK-CBFA08-30BK, EAN: 4710679550244

How to use

Connect the single 4-pin PWM plug to the motherboard fan header that provides PWM control. Attach up to five 4-pin PWM fans to the output connectors, ensuring the combined current draw does not exceed 2A at 12V. Use the adhesive tape to secure the cable inside the chassis and route it to avoid obstructing airflow or interfering with moving parts.

Recommendations

Do not exceed the 2A/12V total output rating; if your fans draw more current, use a powered fan hub or a dedicated fan controller. Verify PWM compatibility of connected fans for proper speed control, and periodically check mounting to ensure the adhesive remains secure.
