IOGEAR GUS402 Data Switch

The IOGEAR 2x4 USB switch (GUS402) lets two computers share up to four USB 2.0 devices such as keyboard, mouse, printer or portable hard drives. The compact unit (77 × 82 × 25 mm, 0.14 kg) reduces cable clutter and removes the need for duplicate peripherals by enabling quick switching between systems with a front button and LED indicator. It supports data transfer rates up to 480 Mbps, is hot-pluggable and includes over-current protection. When a keyboard and mouse are connected, the switch can function as a small USB dock to control two laptops while sharing other connected USB devices.

Advantages

The IOGEAR GUS402 provides simple hardware-based switching between two computers without installing software, saving space and reducing the number of required USB peripherals. Its molded computer-side cables simplify installation and help keep work areas tidy. The device supports charging and syncing of mobile devices through connected computers and offers over-current protection to help protect attached devices.

Suitable for

• Home offices where two computers need to share keyboard and mouse
• Small offices or reception desks that require shared printers or scanners
