Keystone module CAT 6A Digitus DN-93615-24

The Digitus Keystone Module CAT 6A (DN-93615-24) is a shielded, tool-free keystone insert for high-speed Ethernet installations. It features an LSA insulation-displacement connector, 360° shield contact and a dust protection cap for the RJ45 jack. The compact, silver zinc housing with nickel-plated contacts is designed for series mounting (24 modules in a 19" 1U panel) and for installation in modular junction boxes, supporting PoE standards IEEE 802.3af/at/bt.

Advantages

This keystone module enables quick and safe wire terminations without the need for special tools, using color-coded LSA rails compliant with EIA/TIA 568 A & B. The 360° shield contact and shielded CAT 6A design improve EMI protection and signal integrity. Its compact dimensions (14 mm width, 34 mm depth, 20 mm height) and durable zinc housing allow reliable long-term use and easy series installation in distribution panels and junction boxes.

Suitable for

• Patch panels and 19" 1U distribution panels (series installation)
• Modular junction boxes and field installations (tool-free assembly)
• High-speed Ethernet networks requiring shielded CAT 6A connections
• PoE deployments including IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at and 802.3bt (4PPoE)

How to use

Prepare the network cable by stripping the outer jacket to the recommended length and align the conductor pairs to the color-coded LSA rails following EIA/TIA 568 A or B. Press the conductors into the insulation-displacement connector until fully seated; no additional crimping tool is required. Insert the keystone module into the panel or junction box cutout until it snaps into place and attach the dust protection cap to the RJ45 jack when not in use.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use shielded Ethernet cable (FTP/STP) with a continuous ground connection to the patch panel or chassis. Observe PoE power class requirements and cable length limitations for your installation. Store modules in a dry environment and avoid mechanical stress during series mounting.
