Knipex 87 22 250 water pump pliers

The Knipex 87 22 250 tongue-and-groove pliers (Cobra QuickSet) are designed for gripping and turning pipes, fittings and fasteners up to a maximum pipe diameter of 50 mm and a nut size of 46 mm. With a length of 250 mm and a weight of 366 g, these forged chrome vanadium electric steel pliers are oil‑hardened for durability and provide confident leverage and control for professional and DIY tasks. The QuickSet feature allows an additional push-on adjustment that makes working in confined or hard-to-reach areas easier.

Advantages

The QuickSet mechanism locks the hinge bolt automatically when the first load is applied, fixing the gripping width until the release button is pressed. Adjustment on the workpiece is possible simply by sliding the pliers handle, enabling rapid re‑setting without full disassembly. The combination of proven hinge-bolt locking and the push-on function provides reliable operation in tight spaces while maintaining secure grip and repeatable settings. The tool is forged from chrome vanadium electric steel and oil‑hardened for long service life.
