Kramer Electronics C-HM/HM-15 HDMI Cable

The Kramer Electronics C-HM/HM-15 is a 4.6 m HDMI Type A cable designed to transmit high-definition video and multichannel audio between consumer electronics such as TVs, projectors, set-top boxes and computers. The cable has HDMI Type A male connectors on both ends with gold-plated contacts and supports resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 pixels. Its black jacket and molded ends provide a standard, durable connection for home and professional AV setups.

Advantages

This HDMI cable provides an uncompressed digital link that preserves video and audio quality for high-definition content. Gold-plated connectors resist corrosion and improve electrical contact for reliable signal transmission. Molded, pull-resistant K-Lock connectors deliver mechanical retention to reduce accidental disconnection while maintaining a secure fit. The 4.6 m length offers flexibility for typical installation distances without signal converters.

• Linking projectors to laptops and media players in conference rooms or classrooms
• Connecting computers to monitors for high-resolution video and audio

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A male end to the HDMI output of your source device (for example a Blu-ray player, set-top box or laptop) and the other HDMI Type A male end to the HDMI input on the display device (TV, projector or monitor). Ensure both devices are powered off when making the connection, then power them on and select the correct HDMI input on the display. For best results, avoid sharp cable bends and secure the cable near the devices to reduce strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For stable 4K transmission, use direct connections up to the cable length specified (4.6 m). If you need longer runs or plan to route the cable through walls, consider active or certified longer HDMI solutions and ensure compatibility with your devices' HDMI version and HDCP requirements.
