KWB 492870 Grinding Disc 20 Pieces

Sanding Disc KWB 492870 (93 mm) is a pack of 20 aluminium-oxide abrasive discs designed for use with delta/detail sanders. Each phenolic-resin bonded disc features a strong backing and hook-and-loop fabric for quick attachment and reliable holding. The discs are punched for dust extraction and are suitable for sanding wood, metal, paint, varnish, filler and similar materials.

Advantages

The aluminium oxide abrasive provides durable cutting performance and consistent results across different materials. The phenolic resin bond ensures abrasive grains remain secure under higher pressure and temperatures. A reinforced backing improves tear resistance, while the hook-and-loop fabric backing enables fast disc changes. Punched holes allow compatibility with dust extraction systems for a cleaner working environment.

How to use

Select the appropriate grit disc for the material and level of material removal required, then press the disc onto the sander's hook-and-loop pad until it locks in place. Operate the delta or detail sander according to the manufacturer's instructions, using even strokes and moderate pressure. Replace discs when abrasive performance decreases or the disc becomes clogged or worn.

Recommendations

For best results, match grit size to the task (coarse for heavy removal, fine for finishing), ensure the sander and workpiece are secure, and use dust extraction where possible to maintain visibility and prolong disc life.
