Locking Bracket Harting 09000005223

Harting locking bracket 09000005223 is a mechanical accessory designed to secure compatible Harting connectors and housings in industrial and electrical installations. It provides a stable locking function that prevents accidental disconnection of panel-mounted and cable-mounted assemblies. The bracket is intended for use where connector retention and reliable mechanical connection are required, and it integrates with standard Harting housings to support long-term operation under typical industrial conditions.

Advantages

The locking bracket delivers a straightforward mechanical locking solution that reduces the risk of connector separation due to vibration or handling. Its compact form factor allows use in confined panel spaces while maintaining access to the mating connector. Installation and removal are carried out without special tools in many cases, which simplifies maintenance and commissioning tasks. The bracket is compatible with commonly used Harting housings and contributes to overall system reliability by maintaining consistent contact alignment.

Suitable for

• Securing panel-mounted Harting connector housings
• Retention of cable-mounted connector assemblies
• Industrial machinery subject to vibration and movement
• Electrical cabinets, control panels and switchgear
• Applications requiring simple mechanical locking of connectors

Key specifications

• Function: mechanical locking bracket for connector retention
• Compatibility: designed for use with compatible Harting connector housings
• Mounting: suitable for panel and cable mounting arrangements
• Material characteristics: robust construction for industrial use
• Form factor: compact design suitable for confined installation spaces

How to use

Position the locking bracket so it engages the mating surfaces of the Harting connector housing according to the housing alignment features. Secure the bracket to the housing or panel by fastening with the recommended screws or clips; ensure the bracket fully engages to provide positive retention. Verify mechanical locking by gently pulling the connector to confirm it does not disengage. For removal, loosen the fasteners and disengage the bracket from the housing, observing any installation order required by the overall connector assembly.

Recommendations

Confirm compatibility between the locking bracket and the specific Harting housing variant before installation. Use appropriate stainless or zinc-plated fasteners for environments where corrosion resistance is required. Inspect the bracket and mating connector surfaces periodically for wear or damage and replace if locking engagement is compromised.
