LogiLink CV0108 Video Signal Converter

The LogiLink CV0108 HDMI to VGA converter converts HDMI digital video and audio signals into an analog VGA video signal with a separate 3.5 mm audio output. It allows connection of HDMI sources—such as a PC, laptop, game console or DVD player—to VGA displays like monitors or projectors while routing audio independently to speakers or headphones. The compact, black device supports up to 1080p resolution and is built on the AG6200 chipset; it is RoHS and CE certified for compliance.

Advantages

The converter provides stable HDMI-to-VGA conversion with support for Full HD (1080p) resolution and separates audio via a 3.5 mm jack. Its small dimensions make installation and placement flexible, and CE/RoHS certifications indicate regulatory compliance. The unit is powered and managed by the AG6200 chipset to ensure consistent signal handling.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops or desktop PCs with HDMI output to VGA monitors
• Using modern media players or game consoles with older projectors
• Situations requiring separate audio output to speakers or headphones
• Temporary setups in meeting rooms, classrooms or events

How to use

Connect an HDMI cable from your source device to the HDMI input of the LogiLink CV0108. Plug a VGA cable from the converters VGA output to your monitor or projector. If audio is required, connect speakers or headphones to the 3.5 mm audio output. Power the converter if an external power source is necessary (check the device for a power connector). Configure the output resolution on your source device to a compatible mode, preferably 1920×1080 for best results.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use quality HDMI and VGA cables and set the source device's output resolution to 1080p when possible. If no image appears, verify cable connections and ensure the sources display settings are set to duplicate or extend to the external display. Keep the converter in a well-ventilated area and avoid excessive bending of connected cables.
