LogiLink UA0361 USB Hub

The LogiLink UA0361 is a compact USB hub designed to expand a single USB-C port into multiple USB ports for data transfer and peripheral connection. Constructed from durable aluminum and finished in silver, the hub supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (also referred to as 3.1 Gen 1) Type-C host interface and provides a mix of USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A and USB 2.0 ports. With a rated data transfer rate of up to 5000 Mbit/s it is suitable for connecting external drives, keyboards, mice and other USB peripherals while maintaining a small physical footprint (6 mm x 23 mm x 190 mm) and a lightweight 0.26 kg build.

Advantages

The aluminum housing offers improved heat dissipation and a robust feel compared with plastic alternatives, while the silver finish provides a neutral appearance that integrates with a wide range of devices. Support for USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports enables high-speed data transfers up to 5 Gbit/s for compatible devices, and the inclusion of USB 2.0 ports ensures backward compatibility with older peripherals. The hub is bus-powered via the USB connection, simplifying setup and eliminating the need for an external power adapter in typical low-power use cases.

Suitable for

• Expanding a single USB-C port into multiple USB-A ports for laptops and tablets
• Connecting external hard drives and SSDs for data transfer and backup
• Attaching input devices such as keyboards, mice and game controllers
• Using legacy USB 2.0 accessories alongside modern USB 3.2 devices

• Maximum data transfer rate: 5000 Mbit/s (5 Gbit/s) for USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports
• Material: aluminum housing
• Colour: silver
• Dimensions: 6 mm x 23 mm x 190 mm
• Weight: 0.26 kg

How to use

Connect the LogiLink UA0361 to a compatible USB-C host port and then attach USB devices to the hub's Type-A ports. The host should automatically recognise connected devices on modern operating systems such as Windows 10, 8, 7, Android and iOS without additional drivers for standard mass storage and input peripherals. For high-speed transfers, use USB 3.2 Gen 1 compatible cables and devices; for older accessories, use the USB 2.0 ports. Avoid exceeding combined power limits of bus-powered hubs by connecting high-draw devices such as multiple unpowered 3.5" hard drives simultaneously.

Recommendations

Place the hub on a stable, flat surface and keep cable routing clear to reduce strain on the host port. For continuous use with multiple power-hungry devices, consider using a powered hub or devices with their own power supply. Keep firmware and operating system updates applied on the host device to ensure best compatibility.
