Advantages

The Makita DLM432PT2 offers a balance of performance and convenience through its 18 V lithium-ion battery power source that eliminates cords and allows flexible use around the garden. A 430 mm cutting width reduces the number of passes required to cover a lawn, while adjustable cutting height between 20 mm and 75 mm lets you set the finish to match grass type and season. Its compact footprint and manageable weight support easy transport and storage in garden sheds or garages.

How to use

Before use, ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly fitted according to the manufacturer's instructions. Adjust the cutting height to the desired level between 20 mm and 75 mm according to grass length and seasonal requirements. Start mowing along the longest straight edge of the lawn, overlapping each pass slightly to achieve an even finish. Walk at a steady pace and avoid forcing the mower through dense, tall vegetation; make a preliminary pass at a higher cutting height if necessary. After mowing, switch off the mower, remove the battery for charging or storage, and clear any grass clippings from the deck and blade area.

Recommendations

For optimal results, mow regularly and avoid removing more than one-third of the grass blade length at a time. Use the mid-range cutting heights for general maintenance and higher settings for recovery after heavy growth. Store the mower and battery in a dry, cool place and follow Makita's battery care guidelines to prolong battery life.
