MediaRange MRCS112 VGA cable 15 m

The MediaRange MRCS112 15 m VGA cable is a 15-meter analog video connection cable with two VGA (D-Sub) connectors and a black jacket. It is designed to transmit standard VGA signals between computers, monitors, projectors and other devices that use a 15-pin D-Sub interface. The length allows for flexible placement of display equipment in classrooms, conference rooms and larger workspaces while maintaining a straightforward wired connection without additional adapters.

Advantages

The cable provides a single, continuous 15 m run for VGA video transmission, reducing the need for intermediate extenders or repeaters. With standard VGA (D-Sub) connectors on both ends, it ensures compatibility with a wide range of legacy and current displays and graphics outputs. The black outer sheath offers a neutral appearance suitable for office and home installations, and the cable’s construction is intended to deliver stable analog video signals over longer distances.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or laptops to external monitors
• Wiring projectors in meeting rooms, classrooms or auditoriums
• Temporary AV setups for events and presentations
• Replacing or extending existing VGA connections in office environments

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Connector type (end 1): VGA (D-Sub), 15-pin
• Connector type (end 2): VGA (D-Sub), 15-pin
• Cable colour: Black

How to use

Connect one VGA (D-Sub) connector to the VGA output of the source device and the other connector to the VGA input of the display device. Tighten the connector screws by hand to secure the connection and prevent accidental disconnection. If the source or display requires a specific resolution, configure the output resolution on the computer or media player to match the display’s supported resolutions. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and places where it could be pinched or stepped on to preserve signal integrity and cable lifespan.

Recommendations

For reliable analog video quality over 15 m, avoid running the VGA cable parallel to power cables and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources. If you experience signal loss or degradation at higher resolutions, consider using shorter runs, signal boosters, or a digital connection where available.
