METZ CONNECT 1-Channel Interface Module without Manual Operating Level KRS-E06 (110655)

In building automation, integrating switching commands from central controllers into existing electrical installations often requires a reliable, compact interface. The METZ CONNECT KRS-E06 interface module solves this by providing a single potential-free relay output, activated via a 12-24 V AC/DC control signal. It is ideal for switching lighting, fans, or other loads up to 16 A without the need for manual override, ensuring automated operation in DIN rail cabinets.

Who is it for

This module is intended for system integrators, electricians, and facility managers who need to interface PLCs, DDC controllers, or smart home gateways with high-current circuits. It is particularly suited for projects where space is limited and a simple, maintenance-free switching solution is required.

Tips

Ensure the control voltage matches the module's input range and that the load does not exceed the relay's rated current. For inductive loads, consider using an appropriate snubber or varistor to extend relay life. Mount the module in a well-ventilated enclosure to maintain operating temperature limits.
