MicroTouch MACH MSR Module

For retail and hospitality environments where every second counts, the MicroTouch MACH MSR Module eliminates the need for external card readers by integrating directly into compatible Elo MACH Series touchmonitors. Unlike generic USB magstripe peripherals that clutter the counter and require separate cabling, this module mounts seamlessly on the monitor’s side, keeping the workspace clean and the transaction flow uninterrupted. It reads all three tracks of standard magnetic stripe cards at speeds from 5 to 50 IPS, ensuring rapid and accurate data capture for loyalty, gift, and payment applications.

Highlights

• 3-track magnetic stripe reading (ISO 7811, AAMVA, CA DMV formats)
• Tool-less side-mount installation on Elo MicroTouch MACH Series monitors
• Powered directly by the host monitor – no external power supply needed
• Durable head rated for 1,000,000 passes minimum
• LED status indicator for instant operational feedback
• Black finish matches the monitor bezel for a cohesive look

In daily use

Cashiers and service staff can swipe cards with a natural, ergonomic motion without reaching for a separate device. The integrated design reduces cable tangles and frees up counter space, while the high read success rate minimizes failed swipes and customer frustration. Because the module draws power from the monitor, there are no batteries to replace or additional adapters to manage. Installation is straightforward: align the module with the dedicated mounting points on the monitor and secure it without tools, making deployment quick across multiple workstations.
