Network cable Dexlan 858650 Black 1.5m Cat7 S/FTP

The Dexlan 858650 Black 1.5m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for reliable high-speed wired connections. With a 1.5-metre length and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this Cat7 cable provides improved signal integrity and reduced electromagnetic interference through S/FTP shielding. The black outer jacket offers a neutral, discrete appearance for residential or professional setups while supporting high-bandwidth applications such as streaming, gaming and large file transfers.

Advantages

The S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction improves protection against crosstalk and external interference, helping maintain stable throughput in noisy electrical environments. Cat7 specification supports higher frequency ranges than previous categories, enabling consistent performance for gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet links. The 1.5 m length balances reach and cable management, reducing excess slack in compact installations. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure broad compatibility with network devices, switches and routers.

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end of the cable to the Ethernet port of your device (PC, console, smart TV or network switch) and the other end to a router, modem or switch port. Ensure both ends are fully inserted until the connector latch engages. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power cables or near strong electromagnetic sources. Use the 1.5 m length to keep cable runs tidy and reduce signal reflections that can occur with excessive coiling.

Recommendations

Use this Cat7 S/FTP cable for short-distance, high-performance wired links where shielding and reduced interference are important. Verify that your connected devices support the desired Ethernet speeds and configure network settings on switches or routers as needed. Avoid tight bends and sustained mechanical stress at connector ends to preserve shielding and connector integrity.
