Network cable EFB Elektronik K8108SW.0,15

The EFB Elektronik K8108SW.0,15 is a 0.15 m Cat6a networking cable with U/UTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for short connections between network devices, this black cable supports 10GBase-T cabling technology and a data transfer rate up to 10000 Mbit/s. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs ensure reliable contact and reduced signal loss for high-speed Ethernet links.

Advantages

This short Cat6a cable offers U/UTP shielding that helps reduce electromagnetic interference in congested cabling environments. The compact 0.15 m length minimizes cable clutter and signal degradation on short runs. With gold-plated RJ-45 connectors and compliance with 10GBase-T performance, the cable provides stable high-speed transmission suitable for demanding networking tasks.

Suitable for

• Connecting nearby network devices such as switches, routers and patch panels
• Short patch connections in server racks and network cabinets
• High-speed data transfers in local network segments

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T
• Length: 0.15 m
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded pair with overall braid/shield as indicated)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: black
• Maximum data rate: 10000 Mbit/s

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of the devices you want to connect until the connector clicks into place. Use the cable for short patch connections where a compact link is required; avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors. Ensure connected devices are powered and configured for the intended network speed and duplex settings to achieve optimal performance.

Recommendations

For best results, route the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and avoid tight bundling with power cables. Use this 0.15 m Cat6a cable for short, high-speed point-to-point connections inside racks or between adjacent devices to maintain signal integrity and reduce cable clutter.
