Network cable Goobay 95263 Purple 1 m Cat6 U/UTP

The Goobay 95263 is a 1 m Cat6 networking cable in violet with U/UTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors at both ends. It supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and features gold-plated contacts to ensure reliable electrical contact and reduced corrosion. The cable is intended for structured network connections in home or small office environments where a short, high-quality patch cable is required.

Advantages

This Cat6 U/UTP cable provides stable signal transmission at high speed thanks to high-quality inner conductors and precise plug fittings. The gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. The compact 1 m length is suitable for tidy cable management and short-distance connections, while the violet jacket allows easy visual identification in patch panels and network installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers over short distances
• Patching within home networks and small office racks
• Linking network devices where color-coded cabling is useful

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall unshielded with paired construction)
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Maximum data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Cable color: violet

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (for example a PC, switch or router) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to guarantee a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and prevent strain near the connector ends to maintain signal integrity and prolong service life.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m Cat6 patch cable for short-distance network links and patch panel connections. For longer runs or environments with strong electromagnetic interference, consider using shielded cable variants or higher-category cables appropriate for your installation requirements.
