Network Cable ShiverPeaks BS75711-A0.25W

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-A0.25W is a 0.25 m Cat6a networking cable with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for short fixed connections, this white cable offers support for high-speed data transmission in home and small office environments where devices are located close together. The slim length reduces cable clutter while maintaining the electrical characteristics required for Cat6a performance.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk compared with unshielded cables, supporting more stable signals in electrically noisy environments. The Cat6a specification enables higher bandwidth and better signal integrity for gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet applications. RJ-45 connectors on both ends ensure broad compatibility with network ports and patch panels, while the short 0.25 m length minimizes excess cabling and keeps installations tidy.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting a desktop or laptop to a nearby network switch or router
• Patch connections in small server cabinets or network racks
• Linking devices on a desk where a short, visible cable is preferred
• Temporary testing and diagnostics between network ports

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding type: S/FTP (overall braid with individually screened pairs)
• Length: 0.25 meters
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: White
• Application: Ethernet data transmission, up to Cat6a performance levels

How to use

Insert one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into a switch, router, or patch panel port. Ensure connectors are fully seated until they click to establish a secure connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends near the connector area and keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference where possible. Use the cable for short fixed links or as a patch lead inside racks and on desks.

Recommendations

For reliable Cat6a performance, use this short S/FTP cable where a compact, shielded connection is required. Verify port speed and duplex settings on connected devices to match network requirements and test links with appropriate network testers when integrating into structured cabling systems.
