Network cable Telegärtner CAT6a 25m

The Telegärtner CAT6a 25m networking cable is a 25-meter Category 6a patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in commercial and home network installations. It features S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and two factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors for immediate plug-and-play use. The cable's bright yellow jacket improves visibility in patch panels, cable runs and crowded equipment racks while meeting Cat6a performance characteristics for reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet links over short to medium distances.

Advantages

The cable's S/FTP shielding provides individual pair foil plus an overall braid to minimise crosstalk and external interference, supporting consistent signal integrity in environments with multiple networked devices or power cabling nearby. Factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors ensure correct terminations and reduce installation time. The 25 m length offers flexibility in layout planning without additional couplers, and the vivid yellow sheath simplifies identification and troubleshooting within complex cabling systems.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links in office or data centre patching
• Wiring between switches, routers and wall outlets in structured cabling
• Temporary or permanent connections in server rooms and equipment racks
• Audio-visual installations requiring high bandwidth and low interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a (augmented Category 6)
• Length: 25 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with foil-wrapped pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends, factory-terminated
• Conductor type: stranded copper suitable for patching
• Colour: bright yellow jacket for easy identification
• Performance: designed for 10 Gbps data rates over typical Cat6a distances

How to use

Route the cable along the planned path avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding ports of switches, routers or wall outlets until they click into place. For best performance, maintain recommended bend radius and avoid running the cable in parallel and too close to mains power lines; use cable management accessories or trunking as needed. Test the link after installation with appropriate network test equipment to verify continuity and performance.

Recommendations

Use this Telegärtner CAT6a cable for patching and short-run fixed connections where S/FTP shielding and factory-terminated RJ-45 plugs are required. For permanent in-wall installations check local regulations and consider solid-conductor in-wall rated cable alternatives; for extended outdoor runs, select weatherproof or outdoor-rated cable types.
