Network Patch Cable helos 205589 RJ-45, Length 45 m, Plug to Plug

helos 205589 is a 45-metre RJ-45 network patch cable designed for wired Ethernet connections. The cable comes with male-to-male RJ-45 connectors at both ends and a fixed length of 45 m, making it suitable for linking switches, routers, patch panels and end devices where a long, continuous run is required. Constructed for general network use, it provides a direct wired path for data transfer between equipment in offices, server rooms and home networks.

Advantages

This network patch cable offers a long, reliable fixed length that removes the need for multiple shorter cables and couplers. Standard RJ-45 connectors ensure broad compatibility with common network hardware. The single continuous cable run reduces potential points of failure and keeps cable management simpler in horizontal and vertical installations. The design supports stable data transmission over the cable distance appropriate for typical Ethernet use.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches and routers across rooms or between racks
• Linking patch panels to network equipment in server rooms
• Establishing wired connections for desktop PCs, printers and access points
• Home or small office network cabling where a long fixed cable is needed

Key specifications

• Cable type: twisted-pair Ethernet patch cable with RJ-45 terminations
• Connector configuration: male-to-male RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 45 m (fixed, non-retractable)
• Typical application: Ethernet data networking for office, server room and home use
• Physical form: single continuous cable suitable for horizontal and vertical routing

How to use

Route the cable between the two network ports to be connected, avoiding sharp bends and tight kinks that could damage the internal conductors. Insert each RJ-45 plug fully into the corresponding port until the latch clicks, ensuring secure mechanical and electrical contact. If routing through cable trays or behind racks, allow slack near connection points to prevent stress on the plugs. Test the link with network diagnostic tools or a link tester to confirm proper connectivity and data rates.

Recommendations

For best results, keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines and sources of electromagnetic interference. Use proper strain relief at both ends and avoid running the cable across areas with heavy foot traffic. For permanent installations in structured cabling systems, consider routing through designated conduits or cable management channels and verify compatibility with your network topology and required data speeds.
