Network socket RJ-45 white ShiverPeaks BS74251-SET

The ShiverPeaks BS74251-SET outlet box is an RJ-45 wall outlet module in a white finish designed to provide a neat, standardised connection point for Ethernet cabling. It integrates with conventional wall plates and mounting boxes to deliver a finished appearance while keeping network terminations accessible and protected. The unit is suitable for structured cabling installations in residential and commercial interiors where a reliable, fixed RJ-45 connection is required.

Advantages

This RJ-45 outlet box offers a clean appearance in white that matches common interior finishes and wall plates. It is built to accept standard Ethernet connectors and to be compatible with typical flush-mount wall fittings, simplifying installation. The construction provides secure retention of the cable termination and helps maintain consistent electrical contact for stable network performance.

Suitable for

• Home network patch points for PCs, smart TVs and media devices
• Office workstations and meeting room network connections
• Structured cabling projects in apartments and commercial buildings
• Retrofit or new-build installations using standard wall plates

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ-45 (Ethernet)
• Finish: white
• Mounting: flush-mounted into standard wall plate or mounting box
• Cable termination: designed for twisted-pair network cabling
• Compatibility: standard modular jacks and common wall plate dimensions

How to use

Prepare the network cable by stripping the outer sheath and arranging the twisted pairs according to the chosen wiring standard. Terminate the conductors into the outlet box jack following the colour code, ensuring solid contact and proper seating of each conductor. Secure the outlet box into the wall mounting box or plate and attach the cover or faceplate to achieve a flush, finished installation. Test the connection with a network tester to confirm correct wiring and link integrity.

Recommendations

Use the outlet box with category-rated cabling appropriate for the required network speed (for example Cat5e, Cat6 or higher) and keep cable runs within recommended lengths. Avoid excessive bending or tension on the cable at the termination point and verify connections with a tester after installation to ensure reliable performance.
