Omnitronic 14013241 Wireless Microphone Receiver

The Omnitronic 14013241 is a portable bodypack wireless microphone receiver designed for UHF operation. Compact and lightweight, it features a fixed antenna and runs on standard AA batteries, offering a straightforward solution for hands-free audio reception in presentations, events, and field recording. Its small dimensions (66 mm × 22 mm × 108 mm) make it convenient to attach to belts or clothing and integrate into mobile audio setups.

Advantages

The receiver’s compact form factor and low weight provide unobtrusive placement on the user. A fixed antenna reduces mechanical complexity and simplifies setup compared with detachable-antenna designs. Battery power by AA cells enables rapid replacement in the field without specialized rechargeable packs. Operation in the UHF range provides good signal propagation for reliable short- to medium-range wireless audio links when used within compatible system parameters.

How to use

Install fresh AA batteries into the receiver following the battery compartment markings, and ensure correct polarity. Attach the receiver to a belt, waistband, or microphone stand using the integrated clip or a suitable holder. Power the receiver on and verify it is tuned to the same UHF frequency (or channel) as the corresponding transmitter. Confirm audio output is connected to the mixer, amplifier, or recording device via the receiver’s audio output. Perform a sound check to set gain levels and to verify stable reception and acceptable signal-to-noise ratio before use.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, use fresh or high-quality alkaline AA batteries and keep spare batteries available. Maintain line of sight where possible and avoid placing the receiver directly behind large metal objects or dense obstacles. Regularly check and match the receiver’s channel to the transmitter, and perform routine pre-event tests to ensure interference-free operation within local UHF regulations.
