PatchSee RO/PRO-PL Network Cable Tester Light Injector Black Yellow

The PatchSee RO/PRO-PL light injector is a compact, battery-powered accessory for network cable testing that provides a bright, long-lasting LED signal to help identify and trace cables. Its black-and-yellow housing improves visibility on work sites, and the 30 cm cable between the body and the remote LED allows access into tight panels or under desks. The unit is supplied with batteries, a protective bag and a 110–220 V charger with European and UK plugs.

Advantages

The device uses five high-efficiency LEDs that deliver strong illumination and up to 8 hours of operation on a single charge, with an expected LED lifetime of approximately 10,000 hours. It can remain connected to its charger and available for use even if the internal batteries are discharged. The injector offers steady and flashing light modes for improved visibility and simpler identification, and an on/off LED indicator shows the unit status. A clamp and cord are included to secure the light injector in enclosures or on desks while identifying cables.

Suitable for

• Tracing and identifying network cables in patch panels and racks
• Testing cable runs under desks and in confined spaces
• Professional network installation and maintenance tasks
• Field service and on-site troubleshooting

How to use

Insert the three supplied AA batteries or connect the unit to the charger. Attach the remote LED injector near the cable to be identified using the clamp and cord, or place it where the light is most visible. Choose steady or flashing mode depending on visibility needs and switch the unit on; observe the LED indicator to confirm operation. For tracing, move along the cable run while watching the light at the far end or at connector points to confirm continuity or to locate specific cables.

Recommendations

For reliable identification, use the injector in a well-aligned position so the remote LED is visible from the inspection point; keep spare AA batteries available and store the unit in the supplied protective bag when not in use. Avoid exposing the device to excessive moisture or extreme temperatures.
