Phanteks PH-GB6900ASSRX_CR01 Liquid Cooling Kit Chrome Efficient Cooling

The Phanteks PH-GB6900ASSRX_CR01 Chrome efficient cooling liquid cooling kit is designed to provide effective thermal management for modern PC builds. This kit is intended for use with compatible graphics cards and can also support cooling for other components when integrated into a custom loop. The product combines a chrome finish with components engineered for heat transfer and durability, including an aluminum cover, a nickel-plated copper cold plate, a transparent acrylic top, and high-quality VITON sealing taken from automotive and aerospace applications to enhance reliability and service life.

Advantages

The liquid cooling kit delivers improved thermal performance compared with typical air cooling solutions, reducing GPU temperatures and helping maintain stable clock speeds under sustained load. The chrome product colour and transparent acrylic top offer a clean aesthetic that integrates with a range of system styles while the nickel-plated copper base ensures efficient heat transfer. VITON sealing improves resistance to chemical degradation and high temperatures, contributing to long-term leak protection and reliability. At a listed weight of 1.15 kg, the kit balances robust construction with manageability during installation.

Suitable for

• Cooling compatible Asus ROG Strix and TUF RX 6800/6900 series graphics cards
• Custom liquid-cooled PC builds that require a GPU water block with chrome styling
• Systems where lower GPU temperatures and sustained performance under load are required

Key specifications

• Type: Liquid cooling kit
• Product colour: Chrome
• Weight: 1.15 kg
• Materials: Aluminum cover, nickel-plated copper base, transparent acrylic top
• Sealing material: VITON for enhanced chemical and temperature resistance

How to use

Install the cooling kit following the manufacturer’s instructions for mounting on compatible graphics cards. Prepare the system by powering down and grounding components, remove the GPU cooler or backplate as required, align the nickel-plated copper base to the GPU die and secure the block using the supplied screws or mounting hardware. Integrate the block into your custom liquid loop using appropriate fittings and tubing, then fill and bleed the loop to remove air. Verify all fittings are tight, perform a leak test at low pump speed, and monitor temperatures during initial operation.

Recommendations

Use compatible fittings and coolant types recommended for PC water-cooling systems and avoid mixing incompatible additives. Periodically inspect seals and fittings for signs of wear, and perform scheduled maintenance such as coolant replacement and loop cleaning to maintain optimal thermal performance and prevent corrosion or biological growth.
