POLY QD to QD extension cable 3M POLY 85R66AA

The POLY QD to QD Extension Cable 3M (POLY 85R66AA) is an audio extension cable designed to extend the reach of Quick Disconnect (QD) headsets and compatible QD audio devices. The cable provides a reliable wired connection between a QD headset and a base unit, desk phone or adapter, while preserving audio quality across a 3-meter length. Manufactured for compatibility with Poly-branded QD headset systems and many industry-standard QD connectors, this extension cable is intended for use in office, contact center and home work environments where additional cable length is required.

Advantages

The POLY QD to QD Extension Cable 3M maintains signal integrity over its full length to minimize audio degradation and preserves the convenience of the Quick Disconnect feature for fast headset removal. Its 3-meter length offers greater mobility for the user without modifying the existing headset or base unit. The cable is lightweight and simple to attach or detach, and it is produced to meet common compatibility expectations for Poly/HP QD connectors and similar standards.

Suitable for

• Extending the reach of QD-compatible headsets in office and contact centre environments
• Home office setups where additional cable length improves comfort and mobility
• Temporary workstation changes or hot-desking where users need more cable length
• Integrating with compatible Poly (HP) base units, desk phones and QD adapters

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use the extension cable within its specified length and avoid exposure to excessive heat, liquids or mechanical stress. Check compatibility with your specific Poly or HP headset and base model before purchase to ensure proper QD connector matching. Periodically inspect connectors for wear and debris and replace the cable if audio quality degrades or physical damage appears.
