ProXtend M4EXS-10W Extension Cable — 4-pin Slim, 10 m Length

ProXtend M4EXS-10W — 4-pin slim, 10 m length is a slim-profile 4-pin extension cable designed to extend connections for compatible devices and systems. With a 10 m reach and reduced diameter, it enables neat routing in constrained spaces and installations where a longer connection is required without adding bulk. The cable is intended for audio/video and control signal extension in home, office or light industrial environments and is compatible with equipment that uses standard 4-pin connectors.

Advantages

The slim construction reduces cable clutter and simplifies passage through conduits, cable trays and behind equipment racks while preserving reliable electrical continuity over a 10 m distance. Lightweight design lowers strain on connector housings and simplifies handling during installation. The cable's consistent conductor layout facilitates predictable signal transmission for devices designed around 4-pin interfaces.

Suitable for

• Extending 4-pin audio/video or control connections up to 10 m
• Routing through narrow spaces, behind furniture or in equipment racks
• Home AV installations, office setups and light industrial systems
• Temporary or semi-permanent installations where a slim cable profile is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable type: 4-pin slim extension cable
• Length: 10 m
• Weight: 0.5 kg
• Profile: reduced diameter for tight routing
• Use environment: indoor — home, office, light industrial

How to use

Connect the cable between two compatible 4-pin connectors, ensuring correct orientation and full seating of both ends. Route the cable along planned paths, avoiding sharp bends and pinch points; use cable clamps or ties to secure runs and prevent strain on connectors. For installations passing through walls or enclosures, protect the cable with grommets or conduit where appropriate to prevent abrasion.

Recommendations

Inspect connectors before use and avoid pulling on the cable jacket to disconnect; pull from the connector housing. For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines for long distances and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources. Store the cable coiled loosely to prevent kinks and avoid exposure to moisture or direct sunlight.
