Push Rod Cimco 142122 Cable Pulling Spring Yellow 30000 mm

The Cimco 142122 push rod is a 30,000 mm cable puller-feeder designed to support cable installation in residential, commercial and industrial settings. Constructed for repeated use during wire and cable routing, the bright yellow color improves visibility inside conduits and behind walls. This push rod provides a long, flexible reach that helps guide cables through ducts, pipes and ceiling voids while reducing the need for more invasive access methods.

Advantages

The push rod combines a long working length with a visible color to simplify alignment and retrieval in confined spaces. Its construction resists typical wear from pushing and pulling during routing operations, and the smooth exterior helps the rod pass through bends and joints with reduced friction. The product is compatible with common pulling tools and attachments, allowing quick connection and secure cable guidance.

Suitable for

• Running electrical, data and coaxial cables through conduits and ducts
• Retrofitting or extending wiring in residential and commercial buildings
• Routing cables in ceiling voids, service shafts and behind plasterboard
• Professional electrical installation and maintenance tasks

Key specifications

• Overall length: 30,000 mm
• Color: high-visibility yellow for easy locating
• Type: flexible push rod for cable pulling and feeding
• Surface: smooth exterior to reduce friction when passing through bends
• Compatibility: designed for use with standard cable pulling attachments and guides

How to use

Insert the leading end of the push rod into the conduit or opening and push gently while guiding the rod along the intended path. Attach the cable or a pulling line to the rod’s end using an appropriate connector or eyelet, then pull the rod back slowly to draw the cable through. For longer runs, feed the rod progressively and avoid forcing it through sharp bends. Inspect the rod and the conduit before and after use to remove debris that could increase friction or damage insulation.

Recommendations

Use suitable end fittings or coupling accessories to secure cables to the rod and protect cable jackets. Do not exceed recommended bending radii of the conduit and avoid using excessive force when encountering resistance. Store the push rod coiled or on a reel in a dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve flexibility and visibility.
