QOLTEC 50855 Barcode Scanner Stand, Height-Adjustable with Sturdy Base

The QOLTEC 50855 adjustable-height barcode reader stand provides a stable support for compatible handheld scanners, enabling hands-free scanning and consistent positioning. Designed for retail, point-of-sale, warehouse and inventory environments, the stand offers simple height adjustment and a solid base that keeps the scanner steady during continuous use. Its neutral design and compact footprint make it suitable for countertops, packing stations and workbenches where quick access to a barcode reader is required.

Advantages

The stand allows ergonomic placement of a barcode reader at an adjustable height, reducing the need to pick up the scanner for frequent scans. A stable weighted base minimizes tipping and vibration to maintain scanning accuracy. The holder secures compatible handheld scanners in a repeatable angle, improving throughput by keeping the reader in the same position for each scan. The compact design requires minimal counter space and is compatible with common retail and warehouse workflows.

Suitable for

• Retail point-of-sale counters for fast product scanning
• Warehouse packing and shipping stations for repetitive scanning tasks
• Inventory counting stations where hands-free scanning increases speed
• Workbenches and kiosks requiring a fixed scanner position

Key specifications

• Adjustable height range to position the scanner for ergonomic use
• Stable weighted base designed to prevent tipping during scanning
• Universal-style holder compatible with most handheld barcode scanners
• Compact footprint suitable for countertops and small work areas
• Durable construction for daily commercial use

How to use

Place the stand on a flat, stable surface and position the base so the front faces the scanning area. Insert the compatible handheld barcode reader into the holder and adjust the height until the scanner aperture aligns with the expected barcode position. Verify the scanner angle and distance by scanning sample barcodes and fine-tune the height and tilt as needed to ensure reliable reads. For cleaning, power off the scanner and wipe the stand with a soft, damp cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.

Recommendations

Use the stand in well-lit areas and maintain a clear line of sight between the scanner window and barcodes. When performing extended scanning tasks, set the height so that the operator can keep a neutral wrist position to reduce fatigue. Periodically check that the holder secures the scanner firmly and that the base remains level on the work surface.
