Rack Accessory Brush Strip DeLOCK 66487

The DeLOCK 66487 brush panel is a 10" rack accessory designed to organize and protect cables in rack installations. Constructed from metal and nylon bristles in a black finish, it provides a tidy cable entry/exit point while helping to maintain airflow and reduce dust ingress in data centers and server rooms.

Advantages

The metal housing offers durable mounting in a 10" rack opening while the nylon brush bristles allow cables to pass through with minimal airflow disruption. Its compact 65 mm width and 6.5 cm depth make it suitable for standard rack setups without occupying excessive space. The black finish ensures a discrete appearance in professional environments.

How to use

Route network and power cables through the nylon-bristle opening; the bristles will conform around cables to limit dust entry while allowing airflow. Verify that the panel does not obstruct attached equipment and that cables are supported to avoid strain at entry points.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, install the brush panel in a position that aligns with cable paths and check periodically to remove any accumulated dust from the bristles. Use alongside proper cable routing and strain relief to prolong connector life.
