Radio Communicator Aritech UC240 — UltraSync Connectivity Module, Model UC240

Aritech UltraSync Communicator UC240 is a wireless connectivity module designed to provide reliable radio communication between security panels and external devices. The UC240 implements the Aritech UltraSync protocol to relay alarm events, status changes and remote signals, enabling integration of sensors, transmitters and control equipment without additional wiring. The module is intended for installers and system integrators who require a compact, radio-based link to extend or modernize alarm and monitoring installations.

Advantages

The UltraSync Communicator UC240 offers wireless operation that simplifies installation by removing the need for dedicated cabling between devices. It supports stable event transmission over radio, improving responsiveness of alarm systems and allowing remote signaling to central panels or receivers. The module is compact and suited for retrofit projects as well as new builds, providing consistent protocol compatibility with Aritech UltraSync-enabled equipment and reducing installation time.

Suitable for

• Integrating wireless sensors with existing alarm control panels
• Extending alarm communication in retrofit installations
• Remote signaling from external devices to monitoring stations
• Temporary or permanent setups where cabling is impractical

Key specifications

• Wireless communication using Aritech UltraSync protocol
• Purpose: event transmission and remote signaling for security systems
• Compact form factor suitable for mounting within control cabinets or near devices
• Designed for integration with alarm panels and external transmitters
• Intended for professional installation by technicians and system integrators

How to use

Install the UC240 inside a control cabinet or at a location close to the devices to be linked, taking care to maintain adequate radio signal path to the receiver or panel. Follow the manufacturer's integration procedure to pair the module with UltraSync-compatible panels and sensors, assign device addresses or channels as required, and verify event transmission in a controlled test. Ensure power supply and grounding meet the system's electrical requirements and confirm the module's placement does not cause interference with other equipment.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, mount the communicator in a position with clear radio visibility to the receiver and avoid placing it near large metal enclosures or strong RF sources. Perform a signal strength test after installation and use shielded cabling for nearby sensitive equipment if interference is suspected. Always configure and test event reporting and supervision functions during commissioning.
