RAM water block Alphacool Apex X4 Silver (model 13781)

Alphacool Apex X4 Silver is a RAM water cooler engineered to integrate into custom liquid-cooling loops and provide targeted thermal management for system memory modules. Finished in silver, the cooler places a liquid-cooled cold plate directly over the RAM modules to extract heat more effectively than passive or air-only solutions, helping maintain lower operating temperatures during sustained loads and overclocking sessions.

Advantages

The Alphacool Apex X4 Silver delivers concentrated cooling to DIMM modules, reducing temperature spikes and improving thermal stability. Its low-profile design and standardized mounting interface allow compatibility with a wide range of motherboards and memory module layouts. Constructed for loop integration, the cooler supports continuous liquid circulation and helps lower system noise by shifting heat load away from case fans and air coolers.

Suitable for

• PC builders adding RAM cooling into a custom liquid-cooling loop
• Systems running memory-intensive workloads or sustained heavy loads
• Overclocking setups where tighter memory thermal control is required
• Quiet-focused builds that aim to reduce fan RPM and acoustic output

Key specifications

• Designed for cooling standard DIMM-type memory modules using liquid circulation
• Low-profile cold plate with a silver finish suitable for visible builds
• Mounting solution compatible with common memory slot layouts on consumer motherboards
• Material and construction optimized for thermal transfer to coolant
• Intended for integration into custom water-cooling loops with external pump and radiator

How to use

Install the Alphacool Apex X4 Silver by positioning the cold plate over the target DIMM modules and securing the unit with the compatible mounting hardware. Connect the inlet and outlet fittings to your loop tubing and ensure proper orientation for coolant flow. After installation, fill and bleed the loop according to standard liquid-cooling procedures, verify there are no leaks, and monitor memory temperatures during initial operation to confirm correct thermal performance.

Recommendations

Use corrosion-resistant coolant and maintain regular loop maintenance. Verify clearance around neighboring components and consult motherboard documentation to confirm mounting compatibility. Do not operate the loop without sufficient coolant or an appropriate pump and radiator sized for your system.
