Ratchet ring spanner Bahco 1RM-13

The Bahco Ratcheting combination wrench 1RM-13 is a single-piece 13 mm hand tool designed for tightening and loosening hex fasteners. Manufactured from chrome alloy steel with a chrome finish, the wrench combines a fixed open end and a ratcheting box end to allow continuous work without repositioning on the fastener. With an overall depth of 178 mm and a weight of approximately 95 g, the tool balances reach and maneuverability for tasks in confined or accessible spaces.

Advantages

The ratcheting box end provides smooth, incremental turning action that speeds up repetitive operations and reduces the need to lift and realign the wrench. Chrome alloy steel construction delivers durability under typical workshop stresses and the polished chrome finish helps resist surface corrosion and simplifies cleaning. The one-piece design maintains alignment between the open and box ends, ensuring consistent torque transfer and reliable performance across repeated use.

Suitable for

• Automotive maintenance and repairs involving 13 mm fasteners
• Mechanical assemblies and machine maintenance
• Domestic DIY projects requiring quick tightening or loosening of bolts
• Engine and component work in confined spaces where ratcheting action saves time

Key specifications

• Size: 13 mm
• Material: chrome alloy steel
• Finish: polished chrome
• Type: combination wrench with ratcheting box end and open end
• Length (depth): 178 mm
• Weight: approx. 95 g
• Construction: single-piece design

How to use

Select the 13 mm Bahco ratcheting combination wrench and place the appropriate end on the fastener. Use the open end for initial positioning or when clearance prohibits the box end. For continuous tightening or loosening, engage the ratcheting box end and apply steady pressure in the required direction; the ratchet mechanism allows repeated strokes without removing the wrench from the fastener. Maintain straight alignment with the fastener to avoid side loading that could damage the tool or fastener head.

Recommendations

Inspect the wrench before use for wear or damage to the ratchet mechanism and working ends. Clean and lightly lubricate the ratchet periodically to maintain smooth action. Avoid using the wrench as a hammer or with extensions that exceed recommended leverage, and store it in a dry place to limit corrosion despite the chrome finish.
